Trump is not a conservative

President Trump once said he was a Democrat before running as a Republican. The evangelicals support him thought he never goes to church, indulges in extramarital affairs, promotes the imprisonment of immigrant children, and generally engages in unChristian behavior. Evangelicals voted for him because Trump is their best choice in repealing Roe vs. Wade by appointing conservative judges. However, the Supreme Court has not abolished abortion; even deciding cases for liberals in recent months.

Republicans turn against Trump

The tide is turning as some Republicans are no longer supporting President Trump. The Lincoln Project was founded by Republicans who see their party descending into a mess, no longer the grand party of Abraham Lincoln.

It's clear the strategy is to sway pro-Trump voters to get back to their senses. The reason Trump's approval ratings have plunged because of his management of the pandemic. No amount of fake news, lies and incoherence would hide the truth.

What an idiot

Normally this video would elicit disdain and laughter by normal people but you would be labeled as being on the other side, a Democrat or a Never Trumper. Sometimes it feels like normal people have lost their collective mind and this behavior is, in fact, correct and that it is oneself that is losing his grip on reality. Perhaps, one should let go and not care so much that the country is heading towards absurdity.

This is the new normal in the age of the pandemic where life has turned upside down and one should adapt to the craziness of it all. Perhaps the collective is the one descending into madness instead of just accepting what is going on. What is the world coming to?
